Patliputra Samvad is a community of those building for Bihar — a place where words are expected to carry weight. Together, we investigate, make meaningful commitments, and carry work forward through research, public examination and collaborative action.

We are breaking the act of building in Bihar into its smallest operating realities — potentially a hundred steps, a hundred questions and a hundred pieces of evidence. Not another broad diagnosis of the ecosystem, but a close study of what actually happens at each step.

What does it actually take to do something serious in Bihar?
Most ecosystem conversations start at altitude: capital, talent, infrastructure, policy. This series goes lower. We want to decompose a real undertaking — building a business, setting up a unit, hiring a team, selling to an institution — into the small steps where friction, judgement and local knowledge actually live.
One undertaking may become dozens, even a hundred, tightly framed questions. Each question can be researched, tested, polled or documented on its own. Together, they create an operating picture that broad reports usually miss.

Patliputra Samvad began by bringing together people working across enterprise, education, ecology, heritage and Bihar's development questions.
